When we are young, we are told to believe; In fairy tales and ghost stories, To believe in things that give us reprieve, False idols that supposedly fills with glory. As the years go by, We start to become older The truth reveals the lie, A lie that cannot smoulder. It weaves throughout the majority of your life, Within the tales your "parents" told for you to fall asleep, Tied to the lies told by others as sharp as a knife, All made to convert you into sheep. Is it pointless to seek honesty in today's fabricated era? Maybe, maybe not. It all depends not on what you believe in, But that you believe...
