Here's some more poetry for you guys. Enjoy! - Scott* Tempus Fugit
One moment you're standing alone in a playground full of kids, The next thing you know you're sitting in your apartment thinking of a rhyme; Some things stay the same, licking the tops of Jell-O lids, Others change, like moving between various zones of time. Years pass between two moments in life, Between two tiers of the journey ahead: When your friend has a wife, How you can barely keep a girlfriend, or so they said. This world can spin you around, Make you mad over one simple idea or thing, Losing or gaining pounds, Obsessing over a person with a certain something. Time has its ways over us all, How we live, work, and play, It reigns over us all until we fall, Or so you say today. We all must remember that time will fly, Nothing can be changed about it except how we let it do so, Some will let it zoom by, Others will do everything they can to make it slow...

Yup, another poem to read. Cheers! - Scott* The Distant Imaginaries
Feeling a hand on my face that isn't there, Sensing a presence that is not my own, Having a moment where things that cannot exist do, Lacking the real emotion to have those feelings for real, Craving the feelings that make me more man than ghost... Poetry time, everybody. Enjoy the day! - Scott* Longing For a Desire
I awake in a world unfamiliar to my eyes, To a woman unknown to my mind, On a path unseen by the likes of myself, Wishing for a desire I've not had in years, The desire of having something more than what's given, The wish of wanting something beyond what we have, The longing for a desire to be more than more, A desire to be a desirable being... Here's more poetry. Cheers! - Scott* Gates to Temple's Sun
On my way to the ends of the Earth, Where day and night meet in harmony, I see a door glowing with great worth, A place to unleash my electrified symphony. When I pass through the door, The sky in their world is riddled with planets far and wide, I came through this way to find something more, But then I saw something that then struck me in my side. I woke dazed in a temple of some sorts, A beast came to me, covered in boils. I feared what he would do, cover me in warts? But he kneeled before me, stopping my fearful release of human soil. A woman walked from behind the monster and stood in front of me, She told me of what I seek before I could even think, I smiled believing I would finally find what I've searched to see, But instead, she sicked te beast upon me, chasing me into a rink. I fell through the ice, forcing me to wake. Finding myself where I started, back near the door. Instead of going through again, I continue to the world's break, Knowing full well that behind the door, is something I want no more... A day late, but yet, another poem for you to read. Cheers! - Scott* Something Special
Your first time doing anything should be seen as wonderful; First words, first steps, first day at school, and you feel grateful; It's when you get to that first date, first kiss, you start being careful. Eventually those firsts get more personal and specific, With every wonder comes a new place to worry, Because now there's a possibility of a first making you sick, Now every opportunity is one to consider fleeing like a birdy. We shouldn't keep ourselves from having a great first out of fear of the especial, It should be felt and enjoyed, Bragged to the point of being annoyed, Everything we do should be thought of as the first step to something special... |
